Bowen and homeopathy for animals

I hold a qualification in veterinary homeopathy, and I also work Bowen therapy on animals: horses, dogs, cats. The same principles as with people: gentle, without force, with patience. The underlying diagnosis and the treatment stay with the treating vet.

Area 01

Bowen for animals

The same gentle movements, adapted for the animal. It is done without restraint: the animal stays free, and the session stops when it asks for it to stop, not when I have finished my list.

Horses Dogs Cats and others

With animals the technique is done in shorter sessions and with even more pauses. The animal is neither held down nor forced: if it gets up and walks off, that is its pause and we respect it.

The owner stays in the room. They are the one who knows the animal and who notices, over the following days, what has changed in the way it moves, rests or reacts.

What owners come with

  • Stiffness or uneven movement noticed by the owner
  • Slow recovery after exertion, in working horses
  • Discomfort that appears with particular movements
  • Tension you can feel on touch, in the same areas
  • Periods of change: moving house, travel, a new animal in the household

I hold the conversation knowing the ground

I am qualified on the veterinary side as well, so I read the animal's history and the clinic's documents myself rather than taking them by description alone.

No treatment is interrupted

No treatment prescribed by the vet is stopped or changed.

Emergencies do not wait

Injury, acute pain, refusing food, difficulty breathing: straight to the vet or to veterinary emergency care.

Area 02

Homeopathy for animals

The same logic of a long consultation, except that here the owner tells the history and the rest is read from observation: how the animal moves, sleeps, eats, and how it reacts to cold, to noise, to strangers.

Horses Dogs Cats and others

The consultation starts from the vet's documents and from the owner's account. I ask a great deal about the pattern: when it appears, under what conditions, what makes it worse, what settles it.

The recommendation is individual to that animal, and the review happens after an interval agreed with the owner, based on what can actually be observed in its behaviour.

What owners come with

  • Chronic problems, with veterinary investigations already done
  • Patterns that return seasonally or in the same contexts
  • High sensitivity to stress: travel, the clinic, noise
  • A long recovery after a treated problem
  • Situations where the owner wants a longer conversation than a standard appointment allows

Qualified on the veterinary side

I hold a qualification in veterinary homeopathy, so I build the recommendation for the animal myself. The underlying diagnosis and the treatment stay with the treating vet.

With the documents on the table

Bring what you have: tests, diagnosis, current treatment. Without them the conversation has too little to stand on.

Emergencies do not wait

Any acute sign means the vet, immediately. It is not postponed for a homeopathy appointment.

Not sure which approach fits you?

Call and tell me briefly what brings you. If your situation calls for something other than what I do, I will say so in the first conversation.
